Not Like Us
A bold edit inspired by Kendrick Lamar's legendary 'They Not Like Us' performance. Blended with historic symbolism and layered textures for visual impact. A tribute to culture, power, and presence.
The Process
This piece started with the iconic post-performance photo taken after Kendrick's 'They Not Like Us' moment, a cultural shot that already said everything. I reworked the original image, replacing the background with the White House to amplify the message of power, unity, and legacy. I played with textures, lighting, and color grading to give it a raw, cinematic feel, then layered in additional imagery of Kendrick to emphasize his influence. The final result is gritty, loud, and unapologetically about us, the people, the moment, the message.
